Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Smokey Eye

Hey Everyone,

Todays makeup look is focussed around the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette. When I first got this palette I was totally drawn to the purple and metallic shades, I knew Twilight was one of the first shades I had to play with! Oh and  of course this look will also be on my Youtube!

Another exciting thing with this look is that it is my first instagrammer collaboration! Today I’m collaborating with Chloe Henning, make sure you check her out on Instagram and Youtube!

After priming my lids with the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla, I first went into the shade Eden on a large fluffy brush, I applied this a few times just above the crease to build up the density of colour. I then went into the shade Oud and applied this to the outer corners and through the crease, then used the shade Saffron to blend Oud and Eden together. To further deepen the outer corner I reapplied the shade Oud before using some concealer to make a half cut crease, I set the concealer in place with the shade Desert Sand before packing on the shade Amethyst. I then applied some Too Faced Glitter Glue and used my finger to pack on the shade Twilight.

On the lower lash line I used the shades Amber and Saffron on a small pencil brush, then applied Oud on the outer third. I also ran the shade Oud along my lash line to help intensity the look. I then tight lined using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Water Liner in the shade Legend and used my Kat Von D Ink Jet Liner to create some winged liner. To finis the eyes I applied some Roller Lash Mascara and Eylure Falsies in the style 117.

Lip colour is Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in TBT.

For my foundation routine, check out the All About That Base post.
