Hey Everyone,
Today is an exciting day as I FINALLY launched my very own youtube channel! I’d love if you came and said hi, you can find my latest video here – it’s a tutorial on how to create this look! Β So why not give this post a little read then head over and watch the video!!
This look was created using the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette, let me know if you would like a full review of this product!
After filling in my brows using the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown I used the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla to tidy up around the brows and to prime the lids. I then took the shade MFEO on a fluffy brush and blended this through the crease towards the browbone. I then went into the shade Hunts on a smaller blending brush and buffed this through the crease. I didn’t take it as high the previous shade. I reapplied this shade a few times for maximum pigmentation.
To add extra depth to the outer corner I took the shade Buns and blended this through the crease but focussing most of the colour on the outer V, to further deepen the outer V I used the shade Abyss on a pencil brush and blended using the previous brush and shade.
Now to make the lid pop.
I first went in with my NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla and used this to carve out the inner portion of my lid, blending away any harsh lines with the first large fluffy brush. Then on a flat eyeshadow brush apply the shade Little Lady over the concealed areas, I spritzed a little MAC Fix+ over the shadow to make it more pigmented. On a smaller brush I took the shade Cranapple and blended this between the lightest shimmery shade and the darker matte shades.
For the lower lash line I used the first shade (MFEO) on the same fluffy brush and ran this along the lower lash line. I then went into Hunts on a pencil brush and blended this on top but staying closer to the lash line, on the same brush I took the shade Buns and focussed this on the outer third of the lower lash line. To finish the lower lash line I blended Abyss along the very outer edge and then smudged a little through my top and lower lash line.
To finish the eyes I applied Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Water Line Eye Pencil in the shade Legend to top and bottom water lines and then applied some benefit Roller lash mascara before applying Ardell Demi Wispies.
For my foundation routine, check out the All About That Base post.
Love,
