Hey Everyone,
I really love how glam Christmas time is, all the parties present endless opportunities for amazing makeup looks! For this look I wanted a soft version of a really glam look, despite being almost a semi-cut crease I feel like it is still quite a soft!
To start the eyes I blended MAC Soft Brown through the crease and along the outer half of the lid, I then went into Summer Yum from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette and ran this through the crease and outer third of the lid. I then used Bordeaux from the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette to further darken the crease and outer V. For extra intensity I used Blackjack from the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette on the very outer corner, and blended it using the previous shade, Bordeaux.
For the inner portion of the lid I first used some concealer to carve out the area I wanted to be lighter, I then used the brush I applied Summer Yum with and blurred the harsh edges. For the glitter I mixed a Helen E Rose Gold Glitter and NYX Gold Glitter with the NYX Glitter Glue and applied this to the concealed area. I then used a Q-Tip to dab some MAC Reflects Gold over the top for extra shine. After I was happy with my glitter I applied some winged liner using the Kat Von D Ink Liner.
For the lower lash line I used Summer Yum and Bordeaux then pressed the shade Blackjack along my lashline for a more intense look. I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Waterline Eye Pencil in Legend to line my lower and upper water lines. To finish the eyes I applied some Roller Lash Mascara and Ardell Demi Wispies.
Lip colour is MAC Boldly Bare Lip Pencil with Kat Von D Bow N Arrow mixed with Tarte TBT!

Thanks! I find MAC a little hit or miss! The single pan eyeshadows are definitely 100% better than the ones in their pre made palettes! Itโs so strange haha

This look is beautiful! I’ve never thought to use concealer to lighten up the lid!

I love doing it! I find it helps my shimmery shades shine as theyโre not blending with the darker shades Iโve already put down!!
