BLOGMAS 12: Sultry Christmas Party Look

Hey Everyone,

So on the twelfth day of Blogmas Charlottes Makeup Blog gave to you, the perfect sultry smokey eye for your next Christmas party!

For this look I started by priming my lids with the Urban Decay Primer Potion, I then took Sandalwood from the Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Palette – Rose Gold Edition throughout the crease to build definition. I then used Buck from the Urban Decay Naked Palette, I kept this to the outer and inner third of the lid before applying Coco mixed with Black Truffle from the Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Palette – Rose Gold Edition. I blended this in the inner and outer corners, but not as close to the centre as I did with Buck. I then used the brush I applied Buck with to blend out Coco.

I used some concealer to clean out the centre portion of my lid, to create the ‘Halo’ eye I first used a shimmery pale gold shade from the Morphe 25B palette and then used the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Karma Kitten patted on top!

For a more sultry look, I lined my upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Waterproof Pencil in Legend and created winged liner using the Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper. I blended Buck and Coco along the lower lash line and smudged some black eyeshadow right up close to the lower lashline. I applied some mascara to top and bottom lashes and applied Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes!

For my foundation routine, check out my All About That Base Post.

Love,
