Last Saturday was my work christmas dinner and this year I decided to go all out! I wanted glam glittery smokey eyes, and this is a step by step guide of how I got it!
I started with my brows, I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown on a small angled brush to fill in and shape my brows. Feel free to make them a little more dramatic as this is a dramatic look you can definitely pull of stronger brows! I then went in with NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla to carve out and tidy up the brows.
To begin the eyes I first primed my lids with the Urban Decay Original Primer Potion before sweeping Buon Fresco (Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette) through the crease on a large fluffy brush. I applied a few layers to increase the intensity of this shade. To add extra depth to the crease and outer V, I applied Cyprus Umber (Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette) with a more tapered blending brush. To help blend away any blunt edges I used the same brush I applied Buon Fresco with but added no additional product. To deepen the outer corner even further I applied Blackjack (Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics Palette) using a pencil brush to apply the shade and blending it out with the previous brushes. I applied quite a few layers of this shade to keep the darkness and intensity.
To add some sparkly to the lid I first went in with my NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla and carved out the inner two-thirds of the lid, I set this with Primavera (Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette) blending the edges with a the brush I used for Cyprus Umber. When I was happy with the intensity of the outer corner I applied NYX Glitter Glue over the cut crease potion of the lid and packed onNYX Gold Glitter using a small brush. You’ll get lots of fall out this way so it helps to hold a little tissue under your eye to catch some!
For the lower lash line I took the same shades as along the top lid and blended them closer to the lash line as they got darker! I tight lined using the Urban Decay Glide On 24/7 Water Liner in Legend and applied tonnes of mascara! I then applied my Falsies which are Milan by SoSu by Suzanne Jackson!
