KiraKira Studio AHA Cleansing Liquid

Hey Everyone,

I few months ago I was sent this Cleansing Liquid to try out! I’ve been using it for around 5 weeks and so far so good. I use this product around 2 times a week, I have really sensitive skin so I try not to use too many products too often! However the low concentration of AHAs mean that it is gentle enough for everyday use! This KiraKira AHA Cleanser is bringing Asian Skincare (it’s formulated in Japan) to us Westerners – which is fab because Asia is so far ahead in the skincare game!

WHAT IT SAYS

This 2-in-1 cleanser claims to;

  • Hydrate the skin
  • Stimulate collagen production
  • Promote cell turnover
  • Soften the skin
  • Increase natural barrier lipids in the skin (helps to lock in moisture)

There are three key AHAs used in this Cleansing Liquid

  1. Citric Acid – These help to improve skin texture
  2. Glycolic Acid – These help treat fine lines, blemishes and oilines
  3. Stearlic Acid- These help to clean the skin, removing dirt and impurities

WHAT I FOUND

My skin felt really soft and ‘clean’ after using it but it wasn’t tight or uncomfortable, I really hate when cleansers leave your skin tight! For me this is a total no-no!

While this product does break down and remove makeup, I would really recommend removing eye makeup beforehand other wise you have to really rub at your eyes to get the makeup off!

HOW I USE IT

I applied this liquid with my hands and massaged it into my face in small circular motions, I then used a damp face cloth to remove all the residue once I had sufficiently cleaned my face. I then went on with my usual routine.
