Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette was everywhere a few years ago, but since the rise of warm pink and red tones it’s almost never mentioned anymore in the beauty community. For todays #tbt I thought I would dig out this palette and create a super easy, glam smokey eye using all my favourite shades from this palette!
After priming using the Urban Decay Primer Potion, I went in with the shade Salted Caramel through the crease using a large fluffy brush. This is going to be the transition shade of the crease. I then took the shade Milk Chocolate and applied this through the crease on a slightly more tapered blending brush, this is to help add depth and definition. To darken the outer V, I took the shade Semi-Sweet on a tapered blending brush, really focusing this shade in the outer V. Without any additional product I tried to taper out the eyeshadow into a wing shape to help elongate the eyes.
I used the shade Marzipan on the inner two-thirds of the lid to help add some lightness to this look. I first applied this shade dry then went back in with a damp brush so the colour would be more pigmented.
For the lower lash line I used the same three matte shades that I used in the crease, Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate and Semi-Sweet. I then tightened using a black eye pencil and smudged some black eye shadow along the top lash line to help my lashes look thicker. For a smokier look I smudged some of Triple Fudge along my lower lashline as well! The mascara I used was Benefit They’re Real and MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara.
Check out my All About That Base post for my foundation routine.
Overall, I really like this look. If you wanted a more dramatic look you could either apply false lashes or some liner!
