Super Facialist by Una Brennan very kindly sent me some products from their Rose Hydrate Collection and over the past few weeks I’ve been trying them out to get a good feel for the products and see how they reacted with my skin. I have dehydrated and combination skin but it can be quite sensitive, so I have to be careful what skincare I use!
Super Facialist have several ranges designed to meet your specific skincare needs! These are:
- Rose – Gently cleanse, hydrate and calm even the most sensitive skin.
- Neroli – Targets first Signs of Ageing while firming and plumping, for younger, smoother looking skin.
- Retinol+ – Targets fine lines and wrinkles for smoother, firmer and more youthful looking skin appearance.
- Salicylic Acid – Helps target skin prone to breakouts and oiliness for a clear, healthy complexion.
- Vitmin C – Helps brighten and renew for healthier, more youthful glow.
I tried out the Rose Hydrate Brighten and Refine Facial Scrub and the Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil. I was a little worried about the rose scent as this can sometimes be overpowering, but I found it to be a lovely light spa-like scent!
Brighten And Refine Facial Scrub – £8.99
Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of scrubs, they can be a little too abrasive for my sensitive skin so I really don’t use them that often. That being said, I used this one 1-2 times a week, and it didn’t cause me any irritation or dry out my skin. It really did help to brighten my complexion and left it feeling really soft. The scrub particles are quite large so I wouldn’t suggest using it more than 2-3 times per week!
Miracle Makeover Facial Oil -£14.99
This is a pre-cleanse facial treatment oil and is recommended to be used as part of the Double Cleanse Method. I use 2 pumps, warmed in my hands, then spread over my skin before washing it away with a damp face cloth. I have also used this as a cleansing oil to take off makeup and it works pretty well here too! I use this oil at night to cleanse my skin and take off any left over makeup.
Overall I enjoyed using these products, I’m definitely going to continue using the Miracle Makeover Facial Oil on a daily basis as I really enjoyed it and thought it worked well with my skin! I probably won’t use the scrub as frequently as I prefer a more gentle exfoliator but it’ll definitely be used more in the winter months when my skin is dryer. I’ll probably use it like every other week then for a ‘deep clean’. I’d definitely recommend checking out this company if you’re interested in some new skincare!
