If you think back to a few years ago there was one drugstore foundation on pretty much every beauty bloggers lips (or face?) – Revlon Colorstay foundation was a favourite for everyone, and was even compared to Nars Sheer Glow! So today I thought I’d put it to the test!
Eye look will be coming in a few weeks so make sure you check back!
To give this foundation a fair test I didn’t apply any primer as sometimes this can alter the finish and longevity of the foundation. I applied this using my beauty blender as this is my favourite way to apply foundation, I also set using the Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder.
I loved how this foundation looked, it dried to a semi-matte finish and lasted well throughout the day!
I used 2 pumps and got quite full coverage but it didn’t look like a mask. It blends really well round my nose and doesn’t cake or break up.
Make sure you work in sections while applying as this foundation does dry quite quickly.
It comes in 13 shades, so hopefully you can find a match! I used shade 180 Sand Beige.
