Daytime Neutrals

Hey Everyone!

I’m sure by now most of you know that I am a huge fan of neutral colours and warm tones, this look is the perfect combination of both! I wore this look out for a girlie morning of brunching, shopping and coffee dates! Hope you enjoy it!

As this was a daytime look I didn’t want anything too heavy but I did still want to be quite matte and flawless!

Primer: Barry M Primer Spray

Foundation: NARS Sheer Glow – Mont Blanc and Punjab mixed (Read my Review HERE)

Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape – Fair Neutral (Read my Review HERE)

I used a beauty blender to blend out my foundation and concealer for a more natural/lighter finish.

Under Eye Setting Powder: Kat Von D Brightening Powder – Petal (Read my Review HERE)

Face Setting Powder: Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent Powder

Bronze/Contour: Too Faced Cocoa Contour Powder – Medium Cocoa

Blush: Benefit Galifornia

Highlighter: MAC Mineralize Skin Finish – Soft & Gentle

Brows: Soap and Glory Brow Archery – Hot Chocolate

For the eyes I wanted something smokey but still very daytime appropriate!

I first applied Extra Bitter from the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics palette with a small dense brush to really pack on the colour, I then went over the edges with a clean fluffy brush for a seamless transition. I then packed on more of the Extra Bitter shade on the mobile lid and blended this out again, this time I applied a touch of Extra Bitter to my brush for a more intense look. To tidy up the edges I took Faith from the same palette and blended this through the crease as well!

I then took Blackjack on an angled brush and pressed this along the lash line, I used MAC Teddy liner to tight line on the top and bottom! On the lower lash line I used Extra Bitter on the outer half and Faith on the inner half and blended these with a pencil brush, then a fluffy brush for a more diffused look.

To highlight the inner corner I used Vermeer from the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette, and I used a mixture of Tempera and Vermeer, from this palette, to highlight the brow bone. I then applied MAC Extended Play to my bottom lashes and used Benefit Roller Lash and Maybelline Baby Doll Mascara to the top lashes!

I used Kylie Cosmetics Exposed Liquid Lipstick and then used MAC Kinda Sexy over the top of this. I love this warm nude combo!

Dress: Topshop

Shoes: Topshop (they no longer have the leopard online but I’ve linked them in a different colour!)

I paired this look with a cropped denim jacket from New Look.
