May Day GRWM

Hey Everyone!

My youngest cousin just turned 18, so to celebrate we went out to a local cafe for breakfast and then had a big family dinner later that night! Although there was a lot of time in between I wanted to do makeup that would last for both! I opted for a soft peachy smokey eye sans liner and two cute but casual outfits to match!

To start the makeup I prepped my skin! I used the PIXI Glow Tonic to cleanse then The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum and my Cetraban Lotion to moisturise! I’m not a big skincare person but I always try to do these steps, especially before makeup!

For my primer I used the Kat Von D Lock It Hydrating Primer and then for foundation I used NARS Sheer Glow foundation, in Punjab mixed with Mont Blanc. After buffing this into the skin I used NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla to conceal and brighten my under eye area. I set the highlighter in place with the Kat Von D Brightening Powder in Petal.

I then went on to my brows. I’m not going to lie this was a bad brow day for me! I’ve been trying to get used to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade but I just find I have absolutely no control over it and every time I use it my brows end up way too bold! Once I got my brows into a semi-decent shape I then set them with the L’Oreal Artist Brow Plumper in Medium/Dark.

For the eyes I began by using Warm Taupe and Buon Fresco from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette through the crease to create definition! I wasn’t too precise with this look as I wanted an edgier/undone feel to the look! On the lid I took a mix of Bellini, Candied Peach and Just Peachy from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette for pretty peachy look. Too blend this out I used a small amount of Puree from the Sweet Peach Palette through the crease and for the lower lash line I used Antique Bronze from the Modern Renaissance Palette.

To finish the eyes I used a black eye pencil along the top water line and a nude eye pencil along the bottom lash line. I then dabbed some black shadow along my top lashes to make them appear thicker! I then put on a tonne of mascara! I used the Benefit Roller Lash and Benefit They’re Real for my top lashes and MAC Extended Play Mascara for the bottom lashes! I actually really love the way the eyes came out!

I then set my face using the Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder. For the skin I used Barry M Afterglow Light Bronzer to add some warmth to my skin! For definition I used the matte side of the Soap and Glory Solar Power Bronzer on a large fan brush to contour and MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Soft Frost to highlight and for blush I used Too Faced Love Flush 24h Blush in Love Hangover. To finish I spritzed my face with MAC Fix+ and then applied Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Lipstick in the shade Insatiable Ivory.

White Top: Primark (I got it in summer 2016)

Jeans: Topshop Joni Jeans

Sandals: New Look

Khaki Shirt: New Look (I got it in summer 2015)

Jeans: Topshop Joni Jeans

Overall I really love how this look came out, I really loved the makeup I wore and the outfits are me – casual and comfortable! Hope you all had a fab bank holiday weekend and a great week!
