Testing my new Kat Von D makeup!

Hey Everyone!

I’ve been trying out some of the Kat Von D products I recently bought and I’m working my way up to a review. In the meantime I thought I’d share this cute everyday look with you!

Primer: Kat Von D Lock It Hydrating Primer and Base

Foundation: No7 Lift and Luminate Foundation – Cool Vanilla

Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – Vanilla

Face powder: Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder

Setting powder (under eyes): Kat Von D Lock It Brightening Powder – Petal

Contour: Too Faced Cocoa Contour Kit – Medium Cocoa

Blush: MAC Powder Blush – Stay Pretty

Highlight: Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit – Forever Young

Brows: Soap and Glory Brow Archery – Dark Chocolate and Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade – Dark Chocolate

Brow Gel – L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper – Dark

For my eyes I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. I started by using the shades Warm Taupe and Buon Fresco from the  in the crease to help build depth, I also went in with a little Cyprus Umber to further add definition! I then went in with a small amount of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue then applied MAC Kitchmas Pigment over the top. I used the glitter glue to help bring out the glitter in the pigment and to help build colour intensity.

To keep the look simple I applied some black shadow along the lashline, I love to do this to make my lashes look thicker! I then applied MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy to help create a soft but smokey look! I then took the same shades from the Modern Renaissance palette and used them on the lower lashline! To finish I applied Vermeer to the inner corner as a highlight and then I added lots of mascara, I used Benefit They’re Real mascara and MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara.

I wanted to keep the lips neutral so I used MAC Boldly Bare Lip Liner and NYX Lip Lingerie in Push Up.

Hope you loved this look as much as I did!
