Spring Transition

Hey Everyone,

Springtime is finally upon us, meaning long gone are the thick jumpers and knee high boots and the cute floral dresses are here to stay! My personal style is usually very simple but I like to pick out a few key items for each season, I usually go for monochrome pieces with a little colour interspersed!

In Belfast it never really feels like Spring so I find it’s always great to have some nice layers to add to any outfit, I particularly love longline kimonos and jackets! These two are some of my favourites;

The first is a peachy/pink long jacket, it is quite light so is great for the Spring! It’s from Primark and was only £20, the second is a black floral kimono from New Look and was £27.99. They no longer have this one online but there are plenty of similar ones available!

Another thing I’ve been loving this Spring is jeans – particularly destroyed jeans, I’m still on the search for the perfect MOM jeans so if you have any recommendations please let me know! These are some of the jeans I’ve been loving recently;

Black is definitely my favourite denim, so whenever I find a new style I usually go for black as I know I’ll reach for them quicker than I would a blue denim pair! The first pair are from New Look and were £27.99. I really love how these can be dressed up or down, making them super wearable! The second pair are from River Island and have a super frayed hem! I love this look for Spring as it’s so simple but add a little edge to the look!

A final trend I’ve been loving are trousers, I think these are a nice alternative to jeans! These are easy to dress up with heeled boots and a cami or can be worn casually with a pair of trainers and a printed tee! These have been my favourites recently;

The black and white striped pair are from New Look and are £24.99. These are one of my favourite shapes, and they have a belt which adds a nice touch to your outfit. The pale pink ones are also from New Look, they are £19.99 and have a more casual vibe than the striped ones!

What are your favourite trends for this Springtime?

Hope to see you around,
