Palette of the Month: March

Hey Everyone,

I finally got my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, and I’ve got to say I’m obsessed.

This is easily one of the prettiest palettes I own, both in terms of packaging and the shades themselves. I love warm tones and find them very wearable, but if warm tones aren’t your thing then this really isn’t the palette for you.

This palette has a great mix of shimmer shades and matte shades, so you can definitely use just the one palette to make a whole variety of looks.

Swatches of the top row of shadows with and without flash.

Tempera, Golden Ochre, Vermeer, Buon Fresco, Antique Bronze, Love Letter, Cyprus Umber (L-R)

This shades are beautiful, they are all so pigmented and blend beautifully. I especially love the shades Vermeer and Love Letter.

Raw Sienna, Burnt Orange, Primavera, Red Ochre, Venetian Red, Warm Taupe, Realgar (L-R)

Again these shades are all super pigmented and look amazing on, I really like how Warm Taupe is a slightly cooler shades so it helps to stop the palette from being too warm and means you can create more looks.

Overall, I really love this palette and just know that I’ll use it a lot.Β The only downside is that there is quite a bit of kickback when you dip your brush into the pan but I don’t personally find this to be that annoying! I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who is considering it, as it is such a high quality palette with beautiful shades!

Have you tried this palette, what do you think of it?

Hope to see you around,

Love,

Charlotte xx
