Hey Everyone!
This is the look I wore out to dinner with my family! I had originally tried to do a halo eye but it ended up being more of a smokey eye, I still love how it came out though!
EYES
I mainly used the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette for this look, read my review here.
I first applied Urban Decay Primer Potion to my lids then I took Almond Truffle as a transition shade, I applied quite a lot of this shade to deepen the crease. To further define the eye I used the shades Bordeaux, Dark Truffle and Mocha. I put these shades on the outer third and inner third of my eye. To build definition I applied and blended these shades quite a few times.
I connected the darker colours in my crease leaving the centre blank. For the central colour in this halo eye I used Cafe Au Lait, I had to use this shade with some MAC Fix+ in order to get decent pigmentation.
I opted for a winged liner to complete the look, the went in with a small amount of black eyeshadow in the outer V to add more depth. For the lower lashline I used a mixture of the shades Bordeaux and Mocha. I then lined the waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Legend and lots of mascara. I used Benefit Roller Lash and Benefit They’re Real! For my brow bone and inner corner highlight I used the shade Satin Sheets!

I really love how this look came out, it’s more of a smokey eye than a halo eye but I love it anyways!
Do you have any tips on how to nail a halo eye?
