Palette of the Month: February

Hey Everyone!!

A new month means a new palette, and this month I knew I had to pick the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette. I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about this but I absolutely love it!

This palette has the classic hard plastic cover with a bright colourful design we all know from Too Faced, and of course it has the sweetest peach scent which is actually really nice!

This palette has eighteen shades, seven matte and the rest are simmers! I love the range of colours in this palette, from creamy whites to bright corals to deep purples.

The first nine shades of this palette are paler with a few pops of colour through the pinks and corals. These are all so creamy and highly pigmented, which is surprising for paler shades and they’re all super bendable too!

(L-R White Peach, Nectar, Peaches ‘N Cream, Luscious, Cobbler, Georgia, Just Peachy, Candied Peach, Caramelised)

As you can see these are all such beautiful colours, the first two shades are great for highlighting as they are so light and reflective. I love how shimmery the shade Luscious is, its like a bronze/rose shade this is beautiful on the lid, and the pigmentation of the shade Candied Peach is amazing! These are all absolutely beautiful shades!

The second nine shades in the palette are beautifully rich and deep, again there is good pigmentation with the exception of the shade Talk Derby To Me! All the shades are super blendable and you can make so many different looks from this palette as well!

(L-R Bless Her Heart, Bellini, Puree, Tempting, Peach Pit, Summer Yum, Charmed I’m Sure, Delectable, Talk Derby To Me – applied dry and then wet beside it)

Again these shades are beautiful, the shades Bless Her Heart and Bellini are so beautiful, the pigmentation is amazing! There are so many great blending shades in this palette, such as Puree and Summer Yum! The only shade I’m not keen on s Talk Derby To Me, even when applied wet it still doesn’t have great pigmentation! It’s not even that glittery or shimmery! Overall, it is just a very disappointing shade compared to the rest of the palette!

Hope to see you around,

Love,
