This is a look I wore out for cocktails with friends and I’m completely in love with it!
For this look I started with my base makeup, I was actually intending upon doing a really simple liner look but got a bit carried away with the shadows!
Primer: Smashbox Colour Correcting Primer and Tanya Burr Face Illuminator.
Foundation: Too Faced Born This Way – Porcelain, blended with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush.
Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – Vanilla (Review here), blended with a Zoeva 142.
Setting Powder: Makeup Forever HD Powder, applied to the area where the concealer was applied with a Morphe M511.
Face Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – Peach Glow, applied with a Real Techniques Multitask Brush.
Blush: MAC Powder Blush – Harmony, applied with a MAC 168.
Highlighter: MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish – Soft Frost, applied with Morphe G23.
Contour: Benefit Hoola, applied with a Sigma F05
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade – Dark Brown, applied with a Ciara Daly Angled Brush
Brow Gel: Benefit Gimme Brow – Medium/Deep (No5)
I then spritz my face with MAC Fix+ to get rid of any extra powder, I find this is a really useful step when using a lot of powder products as I did.
I started the eyes by blending Puree from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette into the crease with a MAC 217, this will be used as a transition shade to allow the other shadows to blend more easily. I then applied Charmed, I’m Sure from the same palette into the crease again, to further deepen the look. I wanted a darker look in the crease so I used a dark brown from the Morphe 35T palette (Bottom Row, 4th from the left).
Once I was satisfied with the intensity of the crease I went over the centre of my lid with what was left on the Zoeva 142 I used to blend in my concealer. I then applied Bellini from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette to the centre of my lid. This colour was actually darker than I wanted it to be so I went in with High from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette to lighten the lid colour.
I decided to make the crease a little warmer to match the pink tones in the eye so I blended Summer Yum from the Sweet Peach Palette into the crease with a fluffy blending brush.
I used my L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Liner to create a winged liner, I then took my Sephora Collection Eye Pencil to liner my upper and lower waterline.
I then took Blackout from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette on a small pencil brush and applied this to the outer V, where my crease met the wing of my liner. I kept applying and blending this shadow until it was a deep smokey black. I took my 217 from earlier with no additional product and blended the black shadow into the crease colours for a seamless look.
For the lower lashline I blended the shades Puree and Charmed, I’m Sure from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette using another small pencil brush. I then took Peaches ‘N Cream from the same palette and blended the edge of the shadow to get rid of the harsh lines.
For the inner corner and browbone highlight I took White Peach and Nectar from the Too Faced Sweet Palette for a nice glow.
For mascara I used Benefit They’re Real and Benefit Roller Lash on my top lashes and MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara on the lower lashes.
Lipliner: Kylie Cosmetics Liner – Candy K
Liquid Lipstick: Sephora Collection Creme Lip Stain – 13 Marvellous Mauve
Lipstick: MAC Faux
This lip combination was actually flawless, the picture above was taken when I got home so like 4/5 hours later and I didn’t even need to reapply! I was so impressed.
Hope you liked this look, any questions feel free to leave a comment!!
