L’Oreal Pure Clay Review

Hey Everyone!

I’ve been trying out the L’Oreal Pure Clay face masks in Purity and Glow for the past few weeks so I thought I’d review them for you.

The Purity Mask claims to leave skin purified and matte looking without drying skin out. I found that my skin was immediately mattified but my skin wasn’t kept matte for a long time, only a few hours. I don’t have particularly oily skin but I do have larger pores and they were skill noticeable after this mask. I honestly wasn’t overly impressed by this mask, my skin looked pretty much the same and it definitely didn’t purify my skin as it claimed too. I will keep using this mask but I definitely won’t be repurchasing it.

The Glow Mask was my favourite out of the two, it claims to illuminate the skin though gentle exfoliation. I definitely liked how this was an exfoliant as well as a mask and I did find that my skin looked brighter but again the effects weren’t particularly long lasting. Again I probably won’t repurchase this, I’m not really that into face masks but I wasn’t that impressed by either of these.

Overall I’d say these were nice but not amazing, they’re quite inexpensive so it would be worth trying them. I found them to be very gentle on the skin, I didn’t get any breakouts after using these so they’re nice for a little pick-me-up during the week! I think I’ll try and get the Detox one as the reviews seem a lot better.

Have you tried these out?

Hope to see you around,

  1. I received all three masks as a christmas present from my sister! And I absolutely love them! I was pleasantly surprised with the purity mask and glowing mask. However the charcoal mask didn’t impress me very much! It definitly is good for the price but I personally think that there is better charcoal masks to find!
