MAC Haul!

Hey Everyone!

Last week I attempted to do some Christmas shopping at MAC and ended up buying myself a few presents at the same time! Here’s what goodies tempted me!

MAC Powder Blush – Melba

This is a matte blush in a soft coral-peach tone, it is quite a summery blush colour so I’m not sure I’ll wear it much this winter but I can tell I’m going to love it in the warmer months

MAC Powder Blush – Harmony

This is another matte blush, which is described as a rose-beige brown. I think this is a great neutral blush and works well as a matte bronzer on my skin tone. This blush is great when you’ve done a bold lip and don’t want the cheeks to compete with the colours.

MAC Lipstick – Whirl

MAC lipsticks are definitely one of my favourites, the formula is second to none and the colours are beautiful! Whirl is a matte lipstick in a dirty rose colour and is the perfect dark nude for me. It matches the lipliner Whirl perfectly and looks great with any makeup look.

MAC Lipstick – Twig

Twig is much more of a pink tone that Whirl and is described as a soft muted brownish-pink and as it is a satin it has a semi-matte finish so it is a great shade for everyday wear.

I will say however it is extremely similar to the shade Mehr so if you have one you definitely do not need the other, the only real difference is Twig is a semi matte shade and Mehr is matte.

As you can see both shades are very similar, the left is Twig and the right is Mehr!

MAC x Mariah Carey Lipstick – ย McIzzle

I can’t lie I bought this lipstick purely for the packaging. It’s a nice cool peach shade but it’s a cream sheen so it’s not pigmented enough to wear alone. I think this lipstick would be nice on top of a nude liquid lipstick but I’m not sure how else I’d wear it!

Hope to see you around,

Love,
