I’m going to Edinburgh for the weekend with my sister and this is what’s in my makeup bag! These are essentials that I bring with me whenever I travel, most of the products are compact with durable cases making them really handy for travelling!
First of all, how cute is this SkinnyDip makeup bag! It’s really big so it means that I can carry all my brushes and makeup together and because it’s plastic I don’t need to worry about anything leaking into or out of it!
Benefit POREfessional, this has been my go to primer for a few years now. It really helps make my makeup more long lasting and fills in all more large pores.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, this is one of my favourite concealers. It is high coverage and blends seamlessly onto the skin. I like to apply and blend using a Zoeva 142 and then set with a little face powder and a Morphe M511. Read my review of this concealer here.
Bare Minerals Mineral Foundation, I really love how quick and easy it is to apply this foundation, and as it is powder I don’t need to set it so it helps skip some steps! I like to use a large face brush to apply this all over my face. I find that the coverage is really buildable but once is usually enough for me!
Tarte Park Ave Princess, this palette is really handy for travelling, it has a contour/bronzer shade, a blush and a highlighter. The quality of these products is amazing! I really like sets like this for travelling as they help to save space!
All the shades are really nice and wearable!
Soap and Glory Brow Archery and Benefit Gimme Brow, these are my two brow heroes! I honestly don’t think I’ll ever use anything else for my brows! And the pencil has a spoolie on the end so I don’t need to worry about packing (and loosing) one!
L’Oreal Superliner, Sephora Waterproof Eye Pencil and MAC Amber times Nine Palette. The L’Oreal Superliner is my go to for the perfect dark winged liner and as the pencil is waterproof it stays in place all day! This palette is also great for travelling because it is so compact but you still get a variety of colours to play with! I also packed some essential brushes such as a blending brush, a flat shader brush, a pencil brush and a small angled brush. The red handled Smashbox precision brush is the one I use to highlight as it is the perfect shape for my inner corners and browbone!
MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara, Benefit They’re Real Mascara and Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. These are some of my holy grail mascaras that I cannot be without, for my reviews click here!!
MAC Chestnut Lipliner, MAC Antique Velvet Lipstick, MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick. When travelling I like to bring a nude lipstick and a bolder lipstick, this means I can play around with different looks depending on my mood!
I love how versatile both these colours are, and how they will work so well with the MAC Amber times Nine Palette!
That’s (hopefully) all the make up I’m bringing if I can restrain myself from packing anymore that is! What’s your go to product for travelling!
Hope to see you around,
