On Tuesday I posted a review of Urban Decays Ultimate Basics palette, and named it my Palette of the Month for November. This is a really beautiful palette with a variety of neutral matte shades, this is the look I created with this palette.
It’s a pretty grey smokey eye that is ideal for the daytime or for a more casual look!
I applied the shade Magnet all over my lid using a flat shader brush to pack in as much colour as I could. I had to go over this a few times to get good colour density.I then used the shade Tempted in the crease to blend out any harsh lines. For a more dramatic look you could bend a darker shade like Lockout or Blackjack into the crease. I then applied Magnet and Tempted on the lower lash line to complete the look.
I applied a little of Blackjack along the lash line to make my lashes look thicker, I then applied several coats of Benefit Roller Lash on my top lashes and MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara on the lower lashes. I really love how simple and pretty this look is. For my lips I applied one of New Look’s new velvet matte lip crayons in the shade Toffee Apple.
This is a really simple and effective look, which could be done with a lot of the shades in this palette to create a variety of looks.
Hope to see you around,
