Spring Look Book!

Hey Everyone!

So about two months ago I wrote about how to update your wardrobe for Spring (read about it here) and I’ve been trying out some of the trends from that post. Over the past few weeks the weather has really started to warm up, which means that my Spring wardrobe is in full flow!

Look 1:

This is one of my favourite looks, I find black and white to be one of the most wearable colour combinations and it’s one of those looks that is just always chic. I really love this shirt, it just seems to make every outfit look sophisticated. I find it works really well with more basic pieces like a black leather jacket and jeans, as the shirt itself is quite bold. This look incorporates the midi heel trend with these caged sandals.

This outfit is the ultimate girly outfit for me, I just love how vibrant this skirt is! It really steals the show, so I would recommend keeping the rest of the outfit quite basic. This look plays off two of the trends I mentioned; denim and block colours. Two birds, one stone and a really cute outfit! Can’t really argue with that now!

Although Spring is pretty much synonymous with florals  and all things girly, I love to throw in a more casual, edgy look now and again and honestly this is pretty much as edgy as I get. I really love how simple this look is, and again it is a play on monochrome!

And so the florals appear! This is possibly one of my favourite ways to wear floral, these trousers are so comfortable and casual that they just give the whole look a boho/effortless vibe, which I really love! Note: I also wore this with the denim jacket pictured in look 2!

Again with the monochrome, can you tell it’s my fashion comfort zone? Personally I find that you can never go wrong with a simple outfit, and for me that involves black jeans and a cami! This is another take on the denim trend and how a a good pair of black denim jeans just make everything look so effortless, especially when paired with this fringed kimono!

Look 6:

This is another take on the floral trend, it’s a lot more casual that the floral trousers and as the kimono is not as bold I find it’s easier to wear. I’ve always loved incorporating patterns and colours into a simple outfit through kimonos and jackets. I think it’s a really simple way to try out new trends and styles!

I think I saved the best til last with this one! I feel like this outfit embodies Spring, this shirt is similar to the shirt in look 1 so I find that it is still quite a statement piece and the white jeans and sandals just help to bring the Spring-ness to a whole other level! All in all, I really love this look!
