I have finally gotten round to creating a simple, everyday look using the Stila In the Light eyeshadow palette that is this months palette of the month! I tried to make this a really simple looking using minimal products! I think it took me around 20 minutes to complete and I think it is really polished and great for going out to run errands!
To start with I used the Benefit Porefessional, followed by Nars Sheer Glow foundation in the shade Monc Blanc all over to help even out my skin tone. I set this using the MAC Mineralised Skin Finish in light with a big fluffy brush. To add some dimension to my face I used MaryLou Man-izer by theBalm to highlight and MAC Pro Long Wear blush in the shade Stay Pretty. I really love this combo, I find it adds the perfect amount of colour to just brighten my face. For my brows I used Soap and Glory Brow Archery in the shade Hot Chocolate and set this with the Benefit Gimme Brow in the medium/dark shade.
FOR THE EYES
For the eyes I kept it very simple using a combination of just 4 shades. After filling in my brows I used the shade Bare as a matte highlight for my brow bone and inner corner. I applied Kitten all over my lid and blended this using the shade Bliss. I repeated this until I was happy with the application. I also applied Bliss on the lower lash line, to create a shadow affect to make my eyes look bigger. I used the blackest shade, Ebony to line my to and lower lashes lashes and help my lashes look thicker. Overall I was very satisfied with this eye look, it’s super simple and quick buy looks the part.
To finish up I applied the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and the MAC Extended Play Gigablack mascara. These both helped to make my lashes look thicker and more voluminous! Which I really loved!! For the lips I used MAC’s lipliner in the shade Soar and the Soap and Glory Lipstick in the shade 5th Avenude. I really loved this combination and I feel that a matte lip helps to make this look more sophisticated and as though I spent more than 20 minutes on my make up!
I really do love this look! It has become one of my staple looks, especially when I have work and a limited time to get ready!
*Also, I know it looks like I have a wonky look and one eyebrow is a lot higher than the other and one half of my lips is a lot bigger but I promise it’s more symmetrical in real life haha*
I hope you liked this look and recreate it with your own touches! If so please let me know!!
Hope to see you around,
