Hey Everyone!!

Over the past few weeks I’ve been stocking up on some new products to tell you about! Some are new products to me and some are repurchases of my favourite products, all are perfect for the Spring season. There are a lot of beautiful new releases out there, in both High End products and in the ‘drugstore’. I’ve got a few high end products here, but the rest can be found in almost any Boots or Superdrug, and therefore are super affordable!

NEW TO ME

The first new product on my list is the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour, I don’t actually know the shade but I think it is ‘Passion’. It’s a mid-tone pink that (eventually) dries to a matte finish. I find the doe-foot applicator really easy to use and it is a very long lasting colour. However it does take a while to dry, so I would suggest putting it on a while before you’re leaving and not as you’re running out the door!

Next up is the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Nudes Collection Lipstick in the shade 5th Avenude. This is a beautiful matte nude that is a ‘my lips but better’ kind of shade. I find that it works really well with any eye look, and is the lipstick I’ve been using almost everyday since I bought it! I used this lipstick with my Golden Eyes make up look.

IQSF3060The MAC lipstick in Amorous is shade that is a little outside my comfort zone, but I really love it. It’s a canberry tone that has a lovely satin finish. I like to dab it on my lips for a more subdued look. This sort of colour works best on a minimal make up day as it can be quite bold and over powering, especially when paired with a berry toned lipliner.

IMG_0493.JPGI got the Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer in the shade 52 medium radiance, which is honestly  way too dark for me so I’ll probably have to go get the lighter shade. This concealer only comes in three shades though so it can be tricky to match your skin tone, but what I have tried it does seem to be a good concealer and gives a good amount of coverage.

REPURCHASES

XGNO7412.jpgFirst up, my all time favourite tried and true bottom lash mascara! The MAC Extended Play Gigablack Mascara has been a favourite of mine for a few years now, I must have bought about 4 of them by now. They last for a really long time, and I wear it almost every day. It is perfect for bottom lashes as it adds a lot of length and definition to your lashes and is a very dark black. All round a great mascara.

IMG_0478.JPGSoap and Glory’s Brow Archery is another holy grail for me. I think it looks very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil, however it is a lot cheaper. It only comes in two shades, a blonde and a brunette but they are very universal shades. The fine pencil makes it super easy to fill in brows and helps them to look very natural and the brush on the other end helps to shape your brows. I find it to be an amazing product and will definitely be repurchasing it for years to come.

IMG_0491.JPGThe Benefit Porefessional is something I’ve used for years, but I’ve got to admit we have a love-hate relationship. Sometimes I find that it just doesn’t minimise my pores enough and I can still see them through my make up but then I haven’t found anything better so I just keep using it. It’s a hard place to be in. Other days I find it’s a great product and really does keep my make up on, so who knows?!

IMG_0489.JPGLast but not least, the L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Eyeliner in the colour Intense Black. This eyeliner is one of my favourites. I really love how thin the nib is and how easy it is to create a winged liner. It has a felt tip end which helps to make application a breeze.

These are some of my favourite products and some which I can already tell are going to become favourites. What are your favourite products that you think I should try out?

Hope to see you around,

Love,

Charlotte xx
